Replacement Conservatory Roof Cheadle

Conservatories are a common addition to Cheadle houses and yet in many cases, the majority even, they are a disappointment.

A replacement conservatory roof for your Cheadle property can address this issue and turn a flawed space into a room that is useable all year round.

The issue is well known, most conservatories have either a glass or polycarbonate roof, two materials that are wholly unsuited to the task in hand, namely to keep the temperature within a pleasant range. What the homeowner is left with is a room that is too hot in the summer and only of use in winter with the heating on almost constantly.

Resolution can be as simple as converting the conservatory roof, switching from glass or polycarbonate to a lightweight, solid tiled roof.

This is a change that has been permissible since legislation change in 2010. It is a change that has already seen many flawed Cheadle conservatories turned into what is effectively a superb extension, but without the eye watering price tag.

There are a number of different replacement roofs available. It is not our place to comment on rival products, but we can demonstrate why there are compelling reasons to consider PCL.

Replacement Conservatory Roof Cheadle – Key Benefits From PCL

  • The roofs are available in Cheadle. We have experience of working in Cheadle and have long supplied conservatory roofs in Cheshire and the surrounding areas and would be happy to provide an obligation-free quote
  • Ours is the lightest replacement roof available, this ensuring it is suitable as a replacement roof for any existing conservatory frame. There are two tile options, one of which is seven times lighter than traditional building materials
  • Our roofs have a U-value of 0.18, this figure not beaten by any rival product. The figure relates to the thermo efficiency and, in real terms, means that the conservatory will stay a pleasant temperature in summer and will also be easier to heat in winter
  • The work does more than simply creating a useable space, it creates a great space that can be used for a wide variety of purposes. Previous customers have used their newly improved conservatory as an office, a study, a games room, a home cinema, a play room and many more uses besides.
  • Effectively, the room becomes a superb extension rather than a flawed conservatory
  • Upgrading your conservatory improves the look, both internally and externally. On the inside, stylish finishing touches add a touch of class while externally the conservatory will now blend in with the rest of the property. A range of roof styles, tiles and colours are available – no longer will it look a bolt-on to the rest of the property.
  • Despite being light, roofs are not flimsy. Our system is designed to withstand all weather conditions and the tiles have 40-year guarantees.
  • You can also be certain that all building regulations are adhered to. We partner with JHAI to ensure regulatory approval and always leave the homeowner with all relevant paperwork and documentation
  • There are financial benefits to the homeowner on top of the practical benefit of transforming the space into something useable. The thermo efficiency can lead to sizeable energy bill savings each and every year, these potentially running to hundreds of pounds per annum.
  • The work also often pays for itself and more besides.Exact details will vary by property type and location within Cheadle, but in many cases upgrading from a flawed conservatory more than pays for itself in terms of increased property value and asking price.
  • Installation is carried out professionally and typically takes just a few days. We always leave your property clean and tidy at the end of each day’s work.

The key reason homeowners seek a replacement conservatory roof is undoubtedly to turn that flawed space into something altogether more useful.

The roof system from PCL achieves this, but it goes beyond this by creating a space the equal of any room in the house and creating a transformation that adds real value to the property. It is a change form the short term and long.

As with any replacement roof, a key factor is the tiles. With our system, there are two tile options, we would of course be happy to offer advise as to the best option for your property.

The two available options are Tapco and Extralight.

Tapco are synthetic slate tiles and have the look of natural slate and are made from recycled limestone and polypropylene.

Extralight is the choice for when the roof requires the lightest possible tiles as these are some seven times lighter than traditional roofing materials.

Despite being so light, they are not flimsy – this shown by the fact they still have the 40-year guarantee.
