A replacement conservatory roof will improve your conservatory in Poynton by transforming it into a superb space that can be enjoyed all year round.
You probably don’t need us to tell you that most conservatories have a huge flaw.
They were a very popular investment for many, looking to expand their living space and create somewhere ideal when the sun shone. This was nowhere more true than in Cheshire and towns such as Poynton, with people considering their new conservatory a good investment too.
However, most conservatories turned out to be too hot in the summer and too cold in winter. Worse still, the energy inefficiency actually makes the whole house harder to heat – the cold conservatory sucking in the hot air from other rooms.
The single problem inherent with conservatories is the roof – by switching to a lightweight, tiled replacement conservatory roof the issues can be resolved inside just a few days.
At PCL, we are proud to manufacture and install our exceptional tiled roof system, this is a lightweight, tiled replacement conservatory roof that can be fitted to any conservatory frame.
We are, as you will know from research, not the only company to provide re-roofing options for a conservatory but we do stand apart through our reputation. On the independent, verified AllChecked site, every one of our 60 reviews is for the full five stars.
There are compelling reasons to consider our replacement conservatory roofs.
Enjoy A Room That is Usable All year Around
This, of course, is the key benefit. Most conservatories are flawed and can only be comfortably enjoyed for a small portion of the year.
The problem is the roof – be it glass or polycarbonate, two materials terrible at regulating temperature.
A lightweight, tiled roof can keep the room within a pleasant range – in keeping with the rest of the house. Our SupaLite roofs have a U-Value of 0.18, this figure not bettered by any rival product.
The U-Value demonstrates thermal efficiency, that in summer the room doesn’t get too hot and in winter it retains warmth far better than a traditional conservatory roof would.
There are other benefits too as listed below, but this has to the big one. A conservatory that was off limits becoming what it always should have been; the best room in the house for when the sun shines.
Our Solid Roofs Are Proven To Work
It is very easy to make claims – and conservatory makers did this in the first place after all, with homeowners only later finding out the room was flawed.
We believe that the only way to truly show quality is through verified, independent reviews – these very different from testimonials handpicked on a company’s own website.
We use AllChecked for our reviews – anyone who has work done by us can post a review and detail their honest feedback – good or bad. We are delighted to say that every one of our reviews is for the full five stars – and these are detailed reviews, many of which have before and after photos.
Please do take the time to read reviews, and for any other company you may consider from the Poynton area.
A couple of our recent testimonials read.
“As a former Architectural Technician I have been associated with the building profession all my working life. In this day and age it is a tonic to come across a company that is reliable, honest and competent. I could not fault the efficiency from the first contact to the final completion. The quality of the roof system is impressive as is the workmanship and installation time.”
“Absolutely recommend PCL we had a Conservatory Roof fitted also new Residence 7
Windows and the work was carried out to a very high standard and the guys who did the work
were polite and friendly and worked extremely hard and finished all the work in a week.
“First people we would call if we ever require work done to our property.”
Tiled Conservatory Roof Poynton – A Range of Uses
While a flawed conservatory might be useful only as additional, expensive storage, once you have upgraded the room can have a whole host of uses.
We have upgraded conservatories that have been used as home offices, others as games rooms, home cinemas, gyms and many just as an extra, superb lounge space.
Effectively, the room becomes as useful as any extension, just without the hefty price tag an extension comes with.
Looking Good…
A conservatory with a glass or polycarbonate roof does not exactly blend in with the rest of the house. It looks, dare we say it, like a bit of a bolt on.
Our roofs change that. They comes in a range of styles and subtle colour options, this ensures that whatever the style of your Poynton home, the conservatory roof will blend in too.
The internal finish is high class too – and features such as spot lights and a sky light can ensure it remains bright and airy – so retaining the qualities that made you consider a conservatory in the first place.
Financial Benefits
It is natural for the homeowner to wonder why they should spend again to improve a conservatory.
We understand this fully, but we would point out that there is at least some good news. As well as turning the flawed space into a great room, the change also makes financial sense.
Each and every year, there will be energy bill savings – these running to around £200 per year on average based on independent research by AECOM.
Perhaps better still, the work will often pay for itself and more besides – and this is particularly true in a competitive housing market such as that seen in Poynton.
Any would-be future buyer is getting superb extra space, rather than a problematic conservatory they are unsure what to do with.
Conservatory Roof Replacement – About the Tiles
We have a wide range of tile options, these sub divided into two ranges are the Extralight tiles and Tapco tiles.
Extralight are the lightest replacement roof tile, they are seven times lighter than traditional roofing materials and yet can withstand the harshest of weather conditions. They have a remarkable 40-year weatherproof guarantee.
Tapco are made from A-rated fire composite slate, realism created through the use of moulds of real slate.
Further details and images of the tiles in use in recent projects are available via the links below.
