What a great fun day out for all the family at the Royal Cheshire County Show!

There is so much to see….animals and wildlife, chefs cooking food, tasty foods to try, fresh local produce, arts and crafts, thousands of horses, dogs, cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, pigeons and rabbits are involved in competitions in hundreds of classes. With more than 3500 horses taking part, it is the largest light horse section at any county show in the country.

And we are exhibiting there! We have a fantastic stand showing off our wares…..We are illustrating how the layers of insulation work in our tiled replacement roofs so that your conservatory can be a room you can use all year round in an ambient temperature. And we have a special Summer offer – 25% off our UPVC frames with every roof order…so could really be worth visiting us on C3 Plot C12-13.

We have a video loop so you can view how the roofs are individually created in our 40,000sq ft manufacturing plant in Manchester, plus you can also see how we can install an extension using our SIP panel system with minimum disruption and in a much shorter time than a traditional build. There is also an example of these panels on our stand so you can see how the insulation in these panels impacts on keeping your home warm and cosy and saving you on your fuel bills.

Orangeries with lantern roofs, sliding doors, bi-fold doors and much more …so come and see for yourself…. Let us transform your conservatory into a room you can use 365days a year with a solid tiled roof, or let us transform it into an orangery or an extension….

Also at the show……

Local farm produce including cheeses, meats and homemade preserves are exhibited, and there is a farmer’s market and lots of floral displays. A cornucopia of delights to taste and purchase. You will come away with lots of goodies!
Other attractions include country pursuits such as falconry, ferreting and clay pigeon shooting as well as demonstrations of cookery and a motorcycle display team.

As the Cheshire Agricultural Society is celebrating their 180th anniversary the Royal Cheshire County show has opened a new ring – the Delamere Dairy main ring attraction. The performance, commemorating this special anniversary, will take spectators on a journey through history, showing how different agricultural processes have developed over the years. These gentle giants will be followed by the vintage machinery equivalent, exhibiting the transition from the power of the horse to horse power.

The demonstration will finish in the modern day with today’s farming machinery displaying how modern equipment has been scaled up to increase efficiency to meet the agricultural demands of today.

Coinciding with this educational piece on farming through the ages, the Agri-Centre will be teaching another important message of ‘plough to plate’ and our heavy reliance on land and soil for the food on our tables.
Demonstrations will be taking place over the course of the two days from milking to butchering and Taste Cheshire will be running cooking masterclasses, championing local produce.

Notable attendees have often dropped by and Martin Lewis will be there this year. You may bump into a few celebrities, you never know…..Just be aware that the roads get busy so do leave plenty of time to get there. The show is open today and tomorrow June 19th-20th from 8am-6pm…
